Wars are the cause of the destruction of people and societies. We strongly condemn the bombing and killing of innocent people in Palestine and Israel.  The United Nations should take practical steps to establish peace and bring about a ceasefire between Palestine and Israel. These views were expressed by Mr. Shahzad Lawreance a president of EPDI Rabata society during a meeting while he was addressing the participants of different walks of life. All religions teach the education of peace and that peace is the guarantee of human survival. It is the duty of their followers to come forward and maintain peace in the light of the teaching of their religion. For him ending the war between Israel and Palestine would open the way for future peace, brotherhood, and religious harmony. He added that the past is a witness that war paves the way for hatred and revenge and consequently, innocent citizens, women, children, and the elderly are targeted in the name of religion. Massacre of innocent people to achieve political goals is a brutal act. Which we strongly condemn.
