Rabata Society celebrated Christmas with Gujranwala’s Christian community on Dec 19, 2020.
Rabata Society organized a program to celebrate Christmas celebrations with the Christian community of Gujranwala on 19.12.2020 at 3pm. The purpose of this event was to promote religious harmony and peace among the community.
Muhammad Saleem Zahid Chairman of the Interfaith committee emphasized that by engaging in conversations across religious boundaries, we cultivate mutual respect, dispel misconceptions, and build bridges of trust and cooperation.
Mr. Shahzad Lawrence during his speech to the community said this dialogue is particularly significant during times of celebration like Christmas, as it provides an opportunity to share the rich traditions and values those different faiths bring to the global community. Embracing interfaith interactions allows us to appreciate the commonalities that bind us as human beings, promoting a world where peace and unity prevail over division and conflict.

The event ended with the traditional cutting of the Christmas cake by the attendees It was a wonderful event for the Christians who enjoyed and expressed their feelings.
