EPDI Rabata Society organized an interfaith program on 21-12-2023 in connection with the celebrations of Christmas and New Year 2024 at Vital Group of Colleges with students to promote religious harmony and respect for religion in Gujranwala. It is a unique activity to showcase the positive and productive picture of religious harmony at the world level

Respect is the foundation of peace in an interfaith society and the positive and timely role of peaceful stakeholders increases the hope for peace to flourish. Respect for religion requires that every stakeholder contributes to its development with seriousness, openness, and responsibility. A good environment is indispensable for its cultivation and good results. One of the reasons for the slow pace of interfaith harmony is the distance between stakeholders.

To improve the teaching of respect for religion EPDI Rabata society organized an interfaith activity in connection with the celebration of Christmas 2023 and Welcome NEW YEAR 2024 with university students. The chief guest of this activity was Mr. Qari Muhammad Saleem Zahid, Chairman Interfaith Harmony Committee, Gujranwala. He emphasized harmony and peace while he was addressing the male and female students, separately. President of EPDI Rabata Society Mr. Shahzad Lawrence, Mr. Mian Muhammad T. Hussain, teaching faculty of Vital College also attended this ceremony.

Students’ feedback was wonderful and they wished to promote a brotherhood relationship and peace among the society without any discrimination. A Christmas cake-cutting ceremony was held at the end of the program.
