EPDI Rabata Society

Interfaith Peace Bridge

Our world is a collection of different cultures, values, and religions. And our society is also a bouquet decorated with such beautiful flowers. In whose maintenance and care, we are also playing our role.

Initiatives Rabata Society is striving to achieve its goals by considering the promotion of education and dialogue as the best means of social development. This society has worked for many years for Christian Muslim Rabata and organized several programs to promote peace and interfaith harmony.

Peace And Harmony

We aim to promote education, fraternity, brotherhood, peace, and unity in society, and strive for health and social development.

Effective communication between the people living in the society promotes mental harmony and enables the peaceful resolution of many problems. Therefore, the continuation of effective and continuous dialogue is among our top priorities.

Rabata?

Rabata is an Urdu word of Arabic origin that means a connection, relation, or contact. It’s often used as an equivalent of Hindi ‘ Rishta‘.

WHY Rabata?

EPD Initiatives Rabata is a non-profit organization striving to develop a culture of peace, nonviolence, and justice in the community. Its objective is to promote community engagement and collective action.

ABOUT RABATA

Focused on nonviolence, justice, diversity, and equity, Rabata bridges societal divides as well as promotes conflict resolution, peacemaking, and peacebuilding which are the values and goals of the EPDI Rabata Society.

Through Rabata, our goal is to repair our society’s divides, one conversation at a time. By offering space and opportunity to have meaningful, honest, and safe discussions that bridge gaps of race, gender, ethnicity, or religion, the project allows for a moment of transformation in a world of binary thinking and hateful rhetoric. Taken on a large scale, the possibilities for repairing our society’s ills in this way are immense.

In order to make this happen, we have launched a web and mobile-friendly application that allows interested members to create Living Together Movement groups online, invite people from their communities or college campuses to join, organize, plan, and host in-person chapter meetings in their communities, cities, or college campuses.
